The Pallava Grantha, named after the Pallava dynasty in South India, has been documented since the 4th century CE. It is a further development of the Tamiḻ Brāhmī script (Damili) and, through trade relations, formed the basis for the scripts of Southeast Asia.
Die Pallava-Grantha, benannt nach der Pallava-Dynastie in Südindien, ist seit dem 4. Jahrhundert n.d.Z. belegt. Sie ist eine Weiterentwicklung der Tamiḻ-Brāhmī (Damili) und bildete durch Handelsbeziehungen die Grundlage für die Schriften Südostasiens.
